Welcome to our apartment in the picturesque Lungau valley Austria. A great getaway in both Summer and Winter.

Geschichte

Apartment Lungau is situated in the centre of Sankt Michael Im Lungau, a small town in the Lungau Valley just an hour and a half from Salzburg. The apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment located on the top floor of a large apartment house, which comfortably sleeps 6. There are 2 generous double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the large second floor living room. The apartment has 1 large bathroom with separate shower and bath. There is a kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with oven, hob, American style fridge freezer and dishwasher as well as all the pots, pans and crockery you could need during your stay. The dining table easily seats 6 people. There is a separate utility area with washing machine and airer/drier. Ski racks are situated in the large hallway.
The apartment comes with free wi-fi, interactive tv and dvd player.
Adjacent to the apartment is a small Spar supermarket, the town is also served by 2 further supermarkets, Hoffer and Billa. These supermarkets tend to close on Sundays out of the ski season although the local petrol station is open offering limited supplies! There are several eateries in Sankt Michael within a short walking distance of the apartment all offering excellent food which is reasonably priced.
Sankt Michael is situated 1075 meters above sea level; it is an all year round resort which offers mountain biking, golf, hiking and walking as well as skiing in the winter. In the summer there is a local open air pool in Sankt Michael and the town of Tamsweg offers an all year round indoor and outdoor pool.
There are several different ski areas situated within a 5 minute drive of the apartment, all accessible by car or ski bus which stops right outside the apartment, free to those with a local ski pass.
