WALTER-ANTON HAERTING
is an Austria based Architect and Designer. He holds a MA degree in architecture (Leopold-Franzens-University, Innsbruck) and a MSc degree in urban design & planning (University of Applied Arts, Vienna). He finished both studies with “cum laude”. From 2004 to 2006 he studied philosophy at the University of Vienna where he has deepened within the subjects aesthetics and system theory. During his study years W.A. Haerting enjoyed a holistic and integrative education by teachers such as Jeffrey Kipnis, Greg Lynn, Zaha Hadid, Patrik Schumacher, Mario Coyola-Cowley, Thom Mayne, Wolf D. Prix, Josef Lackner, Volker Giencke, Sanford Kwinter, Bart Lootsma, Konrad Paul Liessmann and others.

ALLEGRA!
is a performative Rhaeto-Roman salute which implies joyful wishing and applies where socially equal persons meet.

PERFORMANCE
Customer satisfaction implies the creation of highly qualitative architecture and design. Within a performative and vivid design process social configurations, functional necessities, business demands and imaginary mind-scapes are holistically translated into spatial and structural formations.
The basic ingredients for this process are technical & project management know-how, professional experience, aesthetical sensitiveness and applied spatial combinatorics.

PROJECT & MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
W.-A. Härting worked as a senior project architect, project manager, project coordinator & site supervisor for several national and international architects and engineering firms, such as Architekturhalle, Duda-Testor Architects, Wolf D. Prix, Rainer Pirker architexture, Hans-Peter Wörndl, Artec, EFP architects, ILF Consulting Engineers, etc. on numerous national and international projects.

TEACHING:
From 2006 to 2009 he worked as teaching- and scientific assistant for Wolf D. Prix, Institute of Architecture, University of Applied Arts, Vienna. From 2016 to 2017 he worked as project management trainer for ILF Consulting Engineers Austria.
