Our international company has its origin in Carinthia, Austria's southernmost province. For almost 70 years the production of sleeping bags and cold protective clothing for all climate and temperature zones is at the forefront of our activities. Professionals rely on Carinthia. Whether on expeditions to the Arctic/Antarctic or in the high mountains under the most adverse conditions to military operations in crisis areas, our products are meant to withstand toughest requirements.

An important key to our success is the in Seeboden developed and produced synthetic fiber insulation G-LOFT®. Warm, light and breathable - even in extremely wet and cold weather: The revolutionary G-LOFT® insulation meets the highest standards and combines the benefits of natural down with the ruggedness of a synthetic fiber. And it is permanent. Research and development, as well as the latest findings in materials let new processes and material combinations arise and are the strong foundation for our product range. In product development we also rely on professionals from different sectors (authorities & Special Forces) and thus create through professionalism and flexibility in production quality solutions that provide greater comfort and safety.

For our brand CARINTHIA European quality standards are particularly important. That is why we manufacture our products within Europe. Our manufacturing facilities are located on the one hand at our headquarters in Austria, and the other hand in our factories in Slovakia and Moldova. Only in this way it is possible to provide the highest manufacturing and quality standards and to ensure the according quality controlling mechanisms.
