Retaining much of its original Tyrolean charm and character after careful restoration and renovation, Dorf22 opened for the winter season 2012/13. Blending traditional with the latest in technology, we offer spacious, comfortable self-catering apartments and en-suite rooms with fine linen bedding, thermostatic power-showers fuelled by a sustainable wood pellet heating system, Smart TV’s and complementary Wi-Fi.

Relax on the large private balconies and in the south-facing garden with sweeping views of the mountains and of the village of Soell. Local amenities such as ski rental, bike hire, Après-Ski bars and nightlife, restaurants, banks, shops and supermarkets can all be found just a short 250 metre stroll into the village centre.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find walking and hiking trails accessible from the doorstep, along with numerous cycling paths, ideal for exploring on the pedal assisted E-bikes. The new summer outdoor bathing lake Ahornsee is a 300 metre walk from Dorf22, while the children’s educational mountain theme park, Hexenwasser, can be accessed by a pleasant stroll to the gondola station or by hopping on to the free Kaiserjet bus.

One of the summer highlights is the weekly local craft and farmers market accompanied by live traditional music. Another spectacle is the herding of the cattle from the high pastures (Almabtrieb), held every year in September to celebrate the start of harvest. They offer a unique insight into the local way of life, along with many other festivities and cultural attractions in and around Soll.

Discover the quaint alpine villages of Scheffau, Ellmau and Going am Wilden Kaiser, set amidst the towering backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. A protected area of outstanding natural beauty, offering a variety of walks and hikes for ramblers and mountaineers. For the more adventurous there’s sport climbing routes for the novice and expert, downhill mountain biking, and paragliding. Tee off at the 27 hole golf course in Ellmau, nestled at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser or take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of the Hintersteinersee, perhaps the finest mountain lake in Austria.

In winter, take the free ski bus located just 25 metres from Dorf 22 and find yourself immersed in Austria’s largest winter playground the SkiWelt. 279km of groomed piste, funparks, night skiing, cross country skiing trails and over 80 rustic Alm’s, serving hearty Tyrolean cuisine, provide a truly remarkable winter wonderland. Snow permitting, you can ski back to within 50 metres of Dorf22, where you will find secure storage of equipment in our ski-room with heated boot dryers.

With the airports of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich in close proximity, Dorf 22 can be reached easily from all parts of Europe and beyond. Austrian and German train networks Öbb and DB provide efficient and frequent services to Kufstein and Woergl, linking frequent overnight trains to Munich from many European cities including London on the Eurostar and City Night Line from Paris. Online airport transfers are available from all three airports, while local taxis and frequent bus services connect Söll to and from the train stations.

Wir bieten großzügige und gemütliche Ferienwohnung und Zimmer mit feiner Bettwäsche und thermostatischen Powerduschen, Flatscreen TV und W-Lan Internetanschluss.

Private Balkone, ein südlich gelegener Garten mit toller Aussicht auf den Wilden Kaiser, die Hohe Salve und das Dorf sorgen für einen entspannenden Ausklang nach einem aktiven Tag. Eine sichere Aufbewahrung der Ausrüstung bietet der Schiraum mit beheiztem Schuhtrockner.

Die SkiWelt ist leicht zu erreichen mit der Bushaltestelle nur 25 Meter entfernt und im Sommer steht der gratis Kaiserjetbus im Dorf zur Verfügung. Im Winter je nach Schneelage kann man bis auf 50 Meter vor die Haustür schifahren. Der neu angelegte See sind nur 300 Meter von Dorf 22 entfernt. Die Geschäfte sind leicht zu erreichen und der neugebaute Supermarkt nur ein paar Minuten weit weg.
