Geschichte

Innsbruck – a place where modern urban life and nature meet. There could hardly be a better location for nature filmmakers, producers and the interested public to meet and discuss the latest developments of films focusing on nature and the environment. The digital revolution and society‘s increasing care for the natural foundations of our life have contributed to make to this topic highly interesting for many.
Good reasons for the Tiroler Umweltanwaltschaft (Environmental Ombuds Office Tirol) to invite everybody to be part of the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival. International interest is documented not only by the large number of films submitted, but also by the fact that the contributions come from five continents. For the audience this is an exceptional opportunity to meet filmmakers from all over the world, to watch their latest productions and to participate in an international event.
