LET'S CEE Film Festival:

Geschichte

Once a year Vienna hosts the International LET’S CEE Film Festival, exclusively featuring high-quality productions from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) including the Caucasus region and Turkey. Since its first appearance in 2012, its programme presents an outstanding selection of the best current feature films, documentaries, shorts and promising debuts from altogether 26 countries, all entered in the festival’s four competitions. There are also various other categories, ranging from legendary classics to topic-related retrospectives and tributes, and notable children’s films. With only a few exceptions, the films are presented in their original versions with English or German subtitles. Most screenings are followed by Q&A sessions with filmmakers involved in the production of the presented films. The comprehensive supporting programme features exclusive events for film professionals, ranging from high-class industry meetings to informal get-togethers, as well as workshops, master classes, lectures, panel discussions and, last not least, an attractive party schedule, which are open to the general public too.
