Skiing in Rauris

The beautiful Rauris Village is in the heart of the Hohe Tauern national park within a short transfer time of Salzburg Airport and offers families the opportunity to ski in a smaller traditional resort. With the summit lift taking you to above 2000 metres above sea level with wide open treeless slopes for easy practicing.

There are 2 ski schools in the Village, with Karl Maier and Adventure Rauris teaching from 4 years upwards.

There are also 30 km of cross country skiing, ice climbing and tobogganing available.

If you want to ski outside the village then there are opportunities both in the Gastein Valley and Zell am See as well.
