This tour shows you the city of Salzburg with its surroundings as well as the Salzkammergut. The tour is based on the Musical Sound of Music - The history of the family Trapp - The original locations of filming. We see the Mirabellgardens, the main sets of Do-Re-Mi, The Terrace at Mountain Mönchsberg. The Festival Halls of the Edelweis Song, The Cemetary of Saint Peter, Residence Square with Fountain, The Convent Stift Nonnberg, The Palaces of Leopoldskron and Fronburg used as the Residence of The Family in the movie. We pass even the real Residence of the Family Trapp in Salzburg. The Gazebo of I am sixteen going on seventeen. The mountain Untersberg as well as the Hills from the opening Scenery. Then we go to the lake district to see as the highlight the wedding church of the movie. The movie Sound of Music was filmed in 1965 in Salzburg and surroundings as well as in the studios of 20th Century Fox Studios in California starring Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer and the 7 Kids - Director Robert Wise - Music by Rodgers & Hammerstein - We play and sing the songs during the tour!
