Solden village streches alongside the picturesque and fast moving river Ötztaler Ache. Offering shops, Apres ski bars, excellent restaurants and all the facilities you would expect from a tourist village.

There is also a well equipted sports and leisure centre with indoor pool which many hotels and guest houses offer free entrance to their guests.

To access the amazing choice of slopes on offer you can use the Gaislakogel gondola which is located at the west side of the town or the Giggijoch in the East.

Or when you find the early morning rush of people too much there is also a more relaxed single chair lift available just to the left of the Giggijoch.
