Als reines Wintersporthotel freuen wir uns, Sie von Anfang Dezember bis Mitte April in Zürs am Arlberg begrüßen zu dürfen!

We are a true winter sports hotel and we look forward to welcoming you from early December to mid-April each year!

Mit dieser Vision haben sich Elfi und Oskar Thurnher 1964 mit dem Aufbau des Thurnher’s Alpenhof einen langjährigen Traum eines Domizils in den Bergen erfüllt. Ziel war es, einen Ort zu schaffen, wo Menschen aus aller Welt zusammen kommen, wo alte Freunde sich treffen und neue Freundschaften entstehen. Heute wird dieses Credo und die langjährige Tradition, angereichert durch viele frische Ideen und Innovationen, in zweiter Generation weitergeführt.



Das „Außergewöhnliche“ zu bieten steht dabei nach wie vor im Mittelpunkt aller Bemühungen. Durch die große Liebe zum Detail, die einzigartige Gastfreundschaft der Familie und eines jeden Mitarbeiters wird das 5-Sterne Superior Hotel von den Gästen als ein faszinierender Mikrokosmos empfunden - als ein Ort der Begegnung, der Vielfalt, aber auch der Ruhe, ganz wie der Gast es wünscht.

It was with this vision that Elfi and Oscar Thurnher began the development of Thurnher’s Alpenhof in 1964, thereby fulfilling their long-standing dream of a home in the mountains. They aimed to create a place where guests from all the corners of the globe could gather, where old friends could meet and new friendships be formed. This philosophy and the long-standing tradition are maintained today by the second generation, enriched by a wealth of fresh new ideas and innovations.

Now as then, the desire to offer the “unusual” still lies at the centre of our efforts. Our attention to detail and the unique hospitality of the owning family and every single member of staff ensures that, whatever their expectations and wishes, our guests will experience our 5-star superior hotel as a delightful microcosm – as a rendezvous, a place with many facets and an oasis of calm.

No two of the 14 rooms and 24 suites in Thurnher's Alpenhof are alike.
All the rooms and suites have been individually decorated with great care and loving attention to detail. Classic furnishings combined with contemporary comfort, high-quality soft fabrics, warm, light colours and valuable antiques and art create a truly individual and comfortable atmosphere. The expansive panorama windows provide all rooms in the 5-star hotel with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Ski service:
- We shall be pleased to supply you with your ski pass directly at the hotel, saving your waiting times at the lift stations!
- Our staff will also be pleased to accompany you to the ski rental station and will ensure that your equipment is available when you need it.
- Grinding and waxing of winter sports equipment
- Heated ski room for winter sports equipment and boots

Private ski and snowboard teacher:
Every day our own certified ski and snowboard teacher is available to take you on ski excursions, tours and other winter sports activities. Participation in our wide-ranging programme is free of charge. Roman Dornauer knows the most picturesque descents, the best deep-snow slopes and the cosiest ski huts. With him you can enjoy delightful days skiing and snowboarding. Our varied leisure programme also includes paragliding and heli-skiing as well as romantic torchlight processions and exciting toboggan runs.

A matter of course
- At reception you can obtain a free DVD player for use in your room, as well as a large selection of DVDs for hire.
- High-speed internet access is available free of charge via WLAN in the public areas (lobby / piano bar) and in the rooms via cable. We also have a notebook for the use of our guests, with which you can surf the internet free of charge.
- We shall be pleased to offer you a flower service through which you can order beautiful bouquets or arrangements according to your requirements.
- We offer 24-hour room service as a matter of course.
- And, of course, we also provide a laundry and dry cleaning service.
