What the RUFF?
RUFFBOARDS produces uniquely designed, high-end longboards out of old snowboards. And we do this togehter with ex-prissinors.

RUFFBOARDS is about three things: First, the concept is about eco-friendly longboards for surfing the streets or covering the urban need of an alternative and trendy transportation gadget.
Secondly, RUFFBOARDS is a social enterprise that started with the goal understanding how products are made and creating a better connection between people and the things they own.
Thirdly, we hope to create greater transparency and start serious discussions about former offenders in our society. Former offenders who really want to get a job but don't get the chance to have one.
Hence, we put these three things together and work with former offenders here in the Vienna, mostly young people who have had very little opportunity, and we help them learn to make cool sports goods, which you and I can use, safe in the knowledge that our beneficial had a very good start (back) into working life.

Upcycling?
RUFFBOARDS is an upcycling manufacture - this means you can easily bring your old snowboard and you’ll receive a brandnew, hand-made longboard.

All RUFFBOARDS are made of old, beloved boards.
So don’t throw the old stuff away ... or let them gather dust!
